Enorme riqueza cultural y también en valor monetario es el contenido del Museo Numismático del Banco Central de Honduras, este museo que se localiza actualmente en el edificio del BCH del centro de la ciudad podría trasladarse al nuevo edificio que se construye en el centro cívico en el sector sur de la capital.
Ante esa posibilidad y tal como lo publicó El Heraldo, son muchos los que se pronuncian en contra del traslado y ven en el edificio del centro el sitio ideal no solo para dejarlo, más bien donde hacerlo crecer y ser más accesible al público.
